Serveware offers a feature-rich plotting solution for linking multipleusers in an Ethernet environment with Versatec plotting systems. Itaccepts a variety of graphic data languages and operates with a widerange of Versatec plotters. The plot server software is modular, withoptional data converters, and can operate on IBM 386 AT or workstationnetwork node.Serveware features true spooling capability; ease of installation; userfriendliness; advanced plot queue management; and connectivity to RPMs,and CE3E, 8500, 8600, 8836, and 8900E plotters.By using standard Ethernet protocols, TCP/IP, FTP, NFS, and Telnet,Serveware makes it easy to establish connections to other software andhardware resources. The plot server software is data independent.Optional data converters provide multiple format capabilities, dependingon the controller or plotter model, including HPGL, 906/907, VersatecRandom Format (VRF), the powerful Versatec Color Graphics Language (VCGL)format, and Versatec Data Standards (VDS).Serveware supports three output ports, allowing plotting systems to beshared by everyone on the network.
